Restaurant/Venue Hire

Restaurant, Weddings and Events at Omata

Omata Restaurant is closed this year from now on but will be open every day 11 am to 4 pm in the high season from Mid December to the end of February and Friday through to Mondays from November to April for Platter style Lunches, Desserts and Wine Tastings.

We are open all year for Weddings/Private Parties and Corporate Events, and cover the four seasons all of which have their own special charm at Omata. From the long hot summer days sitting on the shady terrace to the cooler days of the Winterless North, whichever season you choose to visit Omata is a beautiful venue.

Weddings

Weddings are unique, romantic and beautiful at Omata from its Rustic french charm and stunning views of the Bay of Islands to its cobbled brick floors in the wooden beamed hexagonal restauarant and its vine covered cobbled paths. The lawn area in front of the Restaurant is perfect for Wedding Ceremonies and there is also a large flat grassed area to the left for marquees with unobstructed views over the vines to the Bay of islands.
